RISD Workday Student Project Activities Timeline
Workday Student originally began in early 2019 and we are planning a staggered implementation through 2023.
March 2023
- Workday Student Training Plan finalized for faculty, staff and students
- Begin data conversion and data management between the Workday and ‘legacy’ systems
- Summer 2023 class setup activities in Workday
April-May 2023
- Workday Student Training begins for faculty, staff and students (continues through September 2023)
- Student personal and academic data now available in Workday
- Continue to use Colleague to manage all Spring 2023 term activities
- Begin to use Workday for Summer and Fall 2023 term activities (including Registration and Financial Aid)
June 2023
- Spring 2023 Grades are submitted in Colleague
- All will stop using Colleague by mid-June as Spring term activities are completed (including Student Planning and WebAdvisor)
September 2023
- All will use Workday for Fall 2023 activities (Records, Registration, Advising, Financial Aid, and Student Financials)
